NTMS · Rover location prop analysis
24 GHz band. Hourly-averaged predicted link margin from Marathon, Ontario (EN68TQ39OQ) to 4 rover destination grid squares, Oct 14–16, 2026. Each 15-minute sample is squashed into its hour before averaging; -1 adj.
Each point averages the 15-minute predictions that fell in that hour (about 4 per hour; the first and last hours may be partial). Series are ordered by path distance from Marathon, nearest first; each destination keeps the same color on every chart. A badge above a point, outlined in that path’s color, shows the refrac_desc code the model reported for that path in that hour: 1 = inversion, 2 = ducting (1,2 if both occurred). No number means every sample was 0 (no enhancement); an asterisk means only some of the hour’s samples carried the code, and the hover tooltip and table give the counts. The tooltip also shows the hour’s average rain_attn (rain attenuation, dB) for that path whenever it is above zero. An R along the bottom edge marks hours when any path’s highest 15-minute rain_attn is above the threshold in the box above the chart (starts at 0 dB; change it to see whether rain makes a difference).
