During your visit to the EME conference, you may choose to dine with other conference participants during the two catered lunch presentations and the Saturday night banquet. We are also offering breakfast buffet coupons for conference attendees. This breakfast buffet offer is open to all members of the family and is a great deal for only $10 each per day, tip not included. Outside of the hotel restaurant, the only restaurant within walking distance of the hotel is the Denny’s across the street. All meal options must be ordered when you register for the conference. Other major restaurants are within a half mile car drive.

Friday Lunch

The first lunch is on Friday featuring Gerald Youngblood, K5SDR, President of FlexRadio Systems who will be discussing software defined radio architectures.

Saturday Lunch

The second lunch is on Saturday and will feature Joe Taylor , K1JT, who will talk about the recent 432 MHz EME activities at the 1000 ft diameter dish at Arecibo in Puerto Rico. Joe won the 1993 Nobel Prize in Physics for the discovery of the first orbiting pulsar.

Food for both lunch events must be selected in advance from the following menu:

Grilled Chicken Wrap
   Grilled, herb marinated chicken breast, shredded lettuce
   Diced tomatoes and pesto mayonnaise wrapped in a spinach tortilla

Deli Sandwich
   Sliced ham, roasted turkey, swiss cheese, cheddar cheese,
   Shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes on a whole wheat roll

Both choices include:
   Homemade Potato Chips
   Chef’s selection of Dessert
   Tropical Iced Tea by Tazo®

Saturday Banquet

The EME conference will conclude with the traditional Saturday night banquet. We are still expecting to announce a special guest speaker that should appeal to both men and women. The meal for the banquet must be requested in advance and consists of:

   Herb Grilled Chicken - Grilled boneless breast of chicken served with a tomato basil relish
   Roasted Sliced Sirloin - Roasted sirloin, sliced and served with a mushroom demi glace

   Vegetable Medley
   Warm rolls and butter
